Climate change is one of the greatest threats to humanity.
Our planet is losing trees every year because of deforestation.
Allowing for climate change to continue at its current rate will
lead to at least 200 million climate refugees by 2050.
“For the Love of our Planet” is an initiative by shift, in
collaboration with Tree-Nation, a platform for individuals and
organisations to plant trees all around the world and offset
their CO2 emissions. The initiative, which entails planting trees
to offset CO2 emissions, aims to support shift’s mandate in its
fight against climate change.

shift’s CO2 Offset Methodology
CO2 offset values are always estimations, even when certified.
Our estimates are meant to be cautious and by design slightly higher
than actual figures so that we can claim the offset values with
peace of mind. We consider the below:
shift also pledges to continue planting trees on behalf of its clients,
suppliers and employees. Although the trees are planted in a real forest,
they will be gifted virtually with a unique URL through which each tree’s
growth can be tracked individually.
